CBS Mornings highlights Pennsylvania CEAL work as Philly teens fight vaccine rumors
Twenty-seven Philadelphia-area teens are volunteering to talk to their peers about COVID-19 and the importance of COVID-19 vaccinations. The youth say that they are spending a lot of their time fighting common rumors and misinformation their friends see on social media.
These vaccine ambassadors attend community activities, like block parties and other events. They also speak to their peers and encourage them to go to vaccination clinics being run by organizations like Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which is part of the Pennsylvania CEAL Team.
