Partnering with Community Health Centers for Research
From May 2025 to February 2026, CEAL’s Network for Community-Engaged Primary Care Research (NCPCR) program team held a Community Health Worker (CHW) Learning Collaborative to support community health centers and CHWs participating in its CHW-SYSTIM randomized clinical trial.
Building on the foundation of collaboration and trust established in the CHW Learning Collaborative, these sessions ended with a series of three end-of-study meetings to capture key lessons learned with the study’s community health center partners.
This graphic shows one of the outcomes of this meeting series: a set of guiding principles and best practices for research teams engaging with community health centers as community partners.
